Gail J Gaudet is a Canadian independent singer-songwriter originally from Halifax, Nova Scotia, now based in Quebec. Writing from lived experience, Gail creates honest, story-driven music rooted in country, blues and singer-songwriter traditions.
After first releasing music in 2009, Gail returned to songwriting and recording with a renewed focus on original material. Her recent songs reflect resilience, relationships, family and the experiences that shape everyday life.
Working independently through Gailstar’s Music, Gail writes and records her own material, bringing a natural, unpolished honesty to both her songwriting and performances. “Tell Me Baby” showcases her blues side — direct, confident and grounded in the storytelling that runs throughout her music.
