Polaris artists playing Sled Island Festival in Calgary
A healthy slate of past honourees and present Long List artists are playing festivals big and small all across the country this summer. We’ll do our best to keep you looped. If you’re in Calgary this week, be sure to spend some time at Sled Island Festival. Artists include 2006 winner Final Fantasy, 2008 nominee Holy Fuck, and 2009 Long Listers Japandroids, Malajube, Women and Woodpigeon. Also, Sean Pestche who is a big part of Sled Island is also the poster art curator for Polaris and they have a very cool visual ar component as well.
