Polaris Podcast EP7: Inside The Long List Live From Ottawa

We traveled to Ottawa, Ontario for this special live taping of the Polaris Podcast focused on the just-released 2017 Polaris Music Prize Long List.
Taking place at the National Arts Centre, the episode, which was sponsored by Lixar IT, brought together Polaris jurors Ryan Bresee (CKCU), Erin Flynn (CHUO 89.1 FM), Valerie Lessard (Le Droit) and Fateema Sayani (Ottawa Magazine) to dissect the 40 album Long List, lament over what albums didn’t make the list, and predict what album might win the 2017 Polaris Music Prize.
Long List nominee Philippe B was also on hand to perform two songs and explain to host Lana Gay why he’s happy to be on the same list as Leonard Cohen.
