Since 2006, over 190 original pieces have been commissioned through these programs. Several pieces have gone on to win design prizes of their own from the likes of the Society of Illustrators and Communication Arts Annual. Selections from our archives have been exhibited at the National Arts Centre, The Canada Council, the London Museum and were featured in Heritage Toronto’s Sounds Like Toronto digital music history project. Additionally, our prints are prominently displayed in the offices of leading cultural and music institutions.
Polaris continues to curate themed presentations from our vast archive of prints, to highlight the wealth of Canadian artistic excellence in both musical and visual art mediums.
