Chosen by an independent jury of 200+ music critics, curators, and broadcasters from across Canada, the Long List is the first look at the records that will shape the 2026 Polaris season. Polaris awards a $30,000 cash prize to the artist who creates the Canadian Album of the Year, courtesy of the Slaight Family Foundation.
