Free Polaris Cover Sessions 10-Inch Record Features Weaves, Jean-Michel Blais, Lindi Ortega

The Polaris Music Prize is giving away copies of its new 10-inch record, Polaris Cover Sessions #4.

The album, pressed in regal gold vinyl, features Jean-Michel Blais covering Feist’s, “Mushaboom,” Weaves covering Arcade Fire’s “Neighborhood #3 (Power Out)” and Lindi Ortega covering Leonard Cohen’s “Suzanne.”

The three songs on the 10-inch were culled from the Polaris Cover Sessions, an ongoing curated program where past Polaris nominees cover songs from albums that have earned Slaight Family Polaris Heritage Prize designation. The Heritage Prize is Polaris’ version of a Hall of Fame.

To receive a copy of the record, savvy shoppers will need to purchase a Polaris Music Prize-nominated album from one of 37 participating record stores across Canada.
