Free Polaris Cover Sessions 12-Inch Record Features Pierre Kwenders, Faith Healer, Partner

The Polaris Music Prize is giving away copies of its new 12-inch record, Polaris Cover Sessions #5.

The album, pressed in translucent corpse flower purple vinyl, features Pierre Kwenders covering Jean-Pierre Ferland’s “It Ain’t Fair,” Faith Healer’s version of The Band’s “When You Awake” and Partner doing Rush’s “Limelight.”

The three songs on the 12-inch were culled from the Polaris Cover Sessions, an ongoing curated program where past Polaris nominees cover songs from albums that have earned Slaight Family Polaris Heritage Prize designation. The Heritage Prize is Polaris’ hall of fame.

To receive a copy of the record, collectors and fans can purchase a Polaris Music Prize-nominated album from one of 40 participating record stores across Canada.
