The Polaris Music Prize is giving away copies of its new 10-inch Polaris Cover Sessions #3 record.

The record features Little Scream covering Mary Margaret O’Hara’s “Anew Day,” Hannah Georgas covering Arcade Fire’s “Crown Of Love” and Les soeurs Boulay covering Kate & Anna McGarrigle’s “Complainte pour Ste. Catherine.”

The three songs on the 10-inch were culled from the Polaris Cover Sessions, an ongoing curated program where past Polaris nominees cover songs from other past Polaris nominees. For this edition, the musicians were tasked with covering songs from albums which have received Slaight Family Polaris Heritage Prize designation. It’s Polaris’ version of a Hall of Fame.

To get the record, savvy shoppers will need to purchase a Polaris Music Prize-nominated album from one of 29 participating record stores across Canada.
