Polaris Music Prize Peep Show Details Announced, Proceeds To Benefit Musicounts

We’ve just added a pile of new bonus things to make the Polaris Peep Show more awesome. These are:
* 102.1 The Edge personality Josie Dye is going to host the Peep Show.
* Graham Walsh of past Polaris nominees Holy Fuck will now be DJing the party during Gala broadcast intermissions.
* Attendees can now win tickets to see past Polaris nominees Metric at the Air Canada Centre on Nov. 24.
* Attendees can now win Neil Young concert tickets.
* Attendees can now win a Fred Perry prize pack.

The Polaris Music Prize is happy to announce the return of The Polaris Music Prize Screening Party, this year renamed The Peep Show!
Held at The Drake Hotel, the proceeds from this year's event will once again go to MusiCounts, Canada's music education charity associated with The Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS). This year's event will kick off at 7 p.m. on September 24 with complimentary refreshment tickets courtesy of Steamwhistle Brewery.
There will be three draws to win instant upgrades to the invite-only Gala happening simultaneously that night. The upgrades include two tickets to the Gala, a ride from The Drake to Bell Media's Masonic Temple studios courtesy of Scion Canada as well as a fresh new outfit courtesy of Fred Perry. As part of the festivities at The Drake that evening there will be raffles for limited edition posters, vinyl copies of the Short List artists, collectible 7†and more.
Your ticket also gives you free admission to the afterparty that will take place immediately following the Gala.
MusiCounts has some very special things in store this year:
There will be an eBay auction featuring autographed, limited edition, Polaris Prize posters for Short List artists, starting September 17 through September 27. The charity will also be offering the chance for one lucky fan to purchase a Polaris Prize Gala Experience Package through an online auction.
The winner will receive a package for two that includes return airfare to Toronto from anywhere that Air Canada flies, hotel accommodations and tickets to the Gala event. This package will launch August 28 and close September 10.
