The Beaches, Tobias Jesso Jr. Lead Release Roundup For November 21, 2025

Happy grand opening (re-opening?) day to Hamilton’s TD Coliseum, formerly known as Copps Coliseum. We will be hiding out from socials tonight due to the strong FOMO from Super Furry Animals celery chewer, back-up vocalist on Eddie Murphy’s “Love’s Alright,” Wings/Beatles member Paul McCartney playing tonight’s grand opening. Speaking of The Beatles, their Anthology 4 album is out today and the band’s Anthology video series will be on Disney+ starting November 26.

There are some new albums from from past Polaris nominees out today.

* Tobias Jesso Jr. (2015 Short List) has released s h i n e.

* The Beaches (2024 Short List) have released Live At Apple Music Radio.

* Past champ Tanya Tagaq, Alex Lifeson from Heritage Prize winners Rush, and the late-Gord Downie from Heritage Prize winners The Tragically Hip are all featured on the new Rheostatics album The Great Lakes Suite.

* Jill Barber (2009 Long List) has released A Holly Jolly Jill Barber Christmas via Outside Music.
