We've Restocked The Polaris Store Just In Time For The Holidays
It’s mid-November. The last of the discounted Halloween candy has been cleared from store shelves and malls are starting to sneak “Wonderful Christmastime” into their playlists. It’s time to start thinking about holiday shopping.
If you’re looking for the perfect gift for the Canadian music lover in your life, we here at Polaris humbly suggest taking a look at our online store where you can cater to their discerning tastes with any or all of the following items:
Posters: Limited-edition 18×24″ silk-screened posters from the 2010 to 2013 Polaris Short Lists, featuring artists like Feist, Arcade Fire and Karkwa, are available for $30 each. We also have some 12×6″ versions of the 2011 and 2010 posters for $15 and $10 respectively if you’d prefer a smaller version that you can frame and keep on your desk like it’s a beloved family member.
We’ve also raided the vaults for some vintage Polaris art from our 2006-2009 nominees and we’re offering a select number of posters (aka whatever we have left from that era for $30 each.
Programs: Limited-edition Gala programs from 2007, 2009, 2010, 2012 and 2013 (sorry, 2008 and 2011— once they’re gone, they’re gone) are on sale for $20 each. You can also score a bonus version of the 2007 program that includes a compilation CD of all the nominees for $25.
Phone Cases: Protect your iPhone 4/4S or iPhone 5 with our branded Polaris phone cases. They’re both stylish and economical at $10 a pop.
T-Shirts: Because they were such a hit at the recent Polaris Gala we’re doing another limited run of Shared Clothing Polaris tees inspired by the iconic and dearly departed Sam The Record Man sign. The unisex shirts come in sizes XS-L and they’re as soft as they are nostalgic and brilliantly designed, so they’re a steal at $45.
You can also purchase the Shared Clothing shirts through our friends at the Drake General Store for the same price. As of Wednesday, November 20, they’ll have a selection Polaris 2013 posters from Tegan and Sara, Metric, Purity Ring, Metz and A Tribe Called Red on their roster of weird and wonderful Canadiana and sundry goods, too.
