Artist Bio

Thomas Duxbury and New Mother Nature is a Blues Inspired Garage Rock project based out of Hamilton, Ontario. From groovy ballads to bone rattling riffs, New Mother Nature brings an electrifying energy to the stage. What began as Thomas recording the first album “Back 40 Homegrown” in his basement during the pandemic has quickly grown into a collaborative community effort between numerous musicians and artists.

Thomas has performed on numerous festivals and venues across Canada and the UK opening for artists such as The Commoners, Sam Coffey and The Iron Lungs, and The Dirty Nil to name a few. New Mother Nature is a collective group with rotating members including Bruce Cole, Sadie Kostash, Quentin Simms, Bailey Osborne, Zach Ridehalgh, Jesse Stratton, Peter Wronski, and Euan Macdonald. Pulling influences from bands such as Creedence Clearwater Revival, The Black Keys, Sloan, Supertramp, The White Stripes, The Doors, and Gary Clark Jr., to name a few.
