Artist Bio
Ozconscious is a six-piece dream-pop/alt-rock band based in Winnipeg, known for crafting energetic yet emotionally immersive music that blends shimmering synths, textured guitars, and vocal harmonies into a sound that is both grounded and atmospheric. Formed by singer-songwriter Tate Hiebert, the project has developed over several years of writing, performing, and refining its voice within Winnipeg’s music community. After a period of live shows, collaborations, and creative evolution, Ozconscious re-emerged with a renewed focus and a powerful new lineup, bringing a heightened sense of depth, cohesion, and intensity to their music. Their sound moves fluidly between uplifting, catchy highs and deeper, darker sentiments, creating a dynamic and cathartic listening experience. Their debut full-length album, Nostalgia for the Moment, is a reflection of the modern coming-of-age experience—capturing the emotional arc from youthful optimism and anxiety to adult disillusionment, introspection, and ultimately, a search for clarity and self-acceptance.
