Polaris Podcast episode four has arrived.
This episode is the second of two parts dedicated to exploring the eight albums that were honoured with the 2016 Slaight Family Polaris Heritage Prize.
The four Heritage Prize-winning albums we’ll be talking about in this episode are:
* Blue Rodeo Five Days In July, which won in the 1986-95 public vote category
* Mary Margaret O’Hara Miss America, which won in the 1986-95 jury vote category
* Arcade Fire Funeral, which won in the 1996-2005 public vote category
* Lhasa La Llorona, which won in the 1996-2005 jury vote category
We’ve got a number of marquee interviews for episode four.
Arcade Fire will tell us about a symbolic fire they lit while stranded on a Texas highway. Blue Rodeo will explain what went down during those five days in July when they made Five Days In July.
