Slaight Family Polaris Heritage Prize Poster Show And Sale March 13 At Drake Hotel

Polaris will be unveiling our one-of-a-kind screenprint tribute posters we’ve commissioned to honour the eight most recent albums that received Slaight Family Polaris Heritage Prize designation.

The albums we’ll be honouring with these works are:

The Band — The Band by j.s.godfrey
Eric’s Trip — Love Tara by Jessica Fortner
Feist — Let It Die by Toko Hosoya
Glenn Gould — Bach: The Goldberg Variations by Tom Froese
Harmonium — L’Heptade by Sébastien Thibault 
K-OS — Joyful Rebellion by Design By: Noel Nanton – Typotherapy
Gordon Lightfoot — Lightfoot! by Louise Reimer
The Tragically Hip — Fully Completely by Matt Fletcher

Free admission, 5 – 8 p.m. at The Drake Hotel.

Guest DJ Dave Ritter from past Polaris nominees The Strumbellas will be on hand to spin some tunes throughout the evening.
