Yves Jarvis, Austra And Orville Peck Lead The Release Roundup For November 14, 2025

I watched David Cronenberg’s Dead Ringers the same day I learned that Dan Snaith, the former Polaris winner also known as Caribou, also known as Daphni, had released a new song by Daphni called “Waiting So Long”… featuring CARIBOU. Now I don’t know what to think. Are there two Dan Snaiths? Is one of them a gregarious ladies man and the other an awkward drug-dependent shut-in? Do they share everything? Is there a risk of one of them disembowelling the other in a hallucinatory rage using a sinister looking, customized DAT machine?

Let us instead ponder the new albums released today.

* #Polaris2025 winner Yves Jarvis has released the deluxe edition of his All Cylinders album via Next Door Records.

* Austra (1x Short List, 1x Long List) has released Chin Up Buttercup via Domino Records.

* TOBi (2x Short List, 1x Long List) has teamed up with Real Bad Man for The Perfect Blue.

* Badge Epoch (2x Long List) have released Furry Worried Ape via Telephone Explosion Records.

* Orville Peck (2x Long List) has released Appaloosa via Warner Canada.

* Home Front (2023 Long List) have released Watch It Die via La Vida Es Un Mus Discos.

* Odonis Odonis (2014 Long List) have released Odonis Odonis via Royal Mountain Records.

As for your non-Snaith-related song needs, Charlotte Cardin has released “Tant pis pour elle – Version Acoustic,” Aquakultre has dropped “Gallows,” there’s a Rochelle Jordan “Ladida – A COLORS SHOW” video and Klo Pelgag has covered Robert Charlebois’ “Marie-Noël.”
