Arkells, Record Store Day Lead The Release Roundup For April 17, 2026
It may look like there’s only one new release from a past Polaris nominee putting out an album today (3x nominees Arkells who’ve released Between Us), but that’s a false flag.
That’s because tomorrow, Saturday, April 18 is Record Store Day and there are a number of #PolarisPeople who will have collectible slices available.
These include:
* Carly Rae Jepsen, who is putting out the “Disco Darling” seven-inch.
* Joni Mitchell who is putting out For The Roses on coloured vinyl.
* Choses Sauvages who are releasing Singles 2016-2026.
* Neil Young & The Chrome Hearts who are releasing As Time Explodes on clear vinyl.
* Donovan Woods who is releasing Not A Greatest Hits Vol. II on sea blue vinyl.
* Peaches who is releasing a No Lube So Rude picture disc.
* Dallas Good + Richard Reed Parry who are releasing Were The Watchtowers on white vinyl.
